Wastewater Maintenance Foreman – Sussex County Municipal Utilities Authority
The SCMUA is seeking a Wastewater Maintenance Foreman who reports directly to the Superintendent of Wastewater Facilities. A few of the duties are Supervision of Wastewater maintenance staff, maintain records, prepare State and Federal reports, maintenance of various facilities including pumping stations force mains, gravity interceptors etc. and all relevant equipment, supervise general housekeeping of the facility, assist the Superintendent during construction and start-up of new facilities.
A few of the requirements are good communication skills, possession of valid drivers license, ability to analyze plant equipment and its problems, ability to perform duties of maintenance staff, high school diploma or equivalent training and at least 5 years experience with mechanical equipment, plumbing issues, electrical maintenance and welding. Class B Commercial Drivers License required – or must have ability to obtain within 6 months. NJDEP C-2 Collection System License required and NJDEP Wastewater License a plus. Welding and fabrication experience is also a plus.
