Maintenance Mechanic – Landfill Wastewater Plant/Collection Systems – Ocean County Landfill – Manchester Township, NJ
Ocean County Landfill Corp. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for its Leachate Facility/Landfill Gas Collection System at its location in Manchester Township, New Jersey. This position performs the duties of the Treatment Plant and all collection systems of the facility.
Duties include but are not limited to: Maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of all equipment related to the systems. • Daily monitoring and recording of all readings. • Confined space entry using respirator and related equipment. • Routine manual labor requiring physical endurance for maintenance work to keep the facilities in a well-kept condition.
