Looking for the latest information on such topics as elevated temperature landfills, aqueous waste co-disposal, liquids addition, and waste stability? The Environmental Research & Education Foundation (EREF) presents the Emerging Topics in Landfill Management Summit on September 1. This full-day event, which allows attendees to attend in person in Columbus, Ohio, and virtually, features more than 20 academic and professional presenters. Some of the topics to be covered include: why waste slides occur and prevention and intervention strategies related to waste stability.
