SWANA Named “Organization of the Year” by Waste Dive

SWANA has been awarded the Organization of the Year by Waste Dive, one of the leading trade publications covering the solid waste and recycling industry. The honor is one of Waste Dive’s annual awards for notable companies, organizations, executives, and events, that shaped the industry and its future.

In a statement about the award, Waste Dive said, “As the waste and recycling industry experiences rapid changes, companies and organizations are having to become more adaptive. This year, the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) went through one of its largest shifts yet in an effort to be more flexible for whatever comes next.”

SWANA released a statement about the award on their website and want to thank all of its members for making this possible.
